We could not get reservations for the whole time at one resort since it will be Christmas and we waited till the last minute. We are going to have to change from the Wilderness Lodge to the Pop Century on Christmas Eve Day. What are our options? Is the DW bus(and what route would we go) or a taxi our only options, plus we'll have a lot of luggage. We've never stayed on property before and never used DW transportation :earboy2: Please help!!

Disney will store (after checkout time at WL) and transport your luggage to Pop Century for you, so you just have to worry about packing/unpacking. You can spend your day as you wish (theme park, etc) and check in at the PC at your convenience (though I wouldn't wait until evening - such as after park closing).

You can therefore use WDW transportation, just catch a PC bus from any park or Downtown Disney when you're ready to head for your new resort.

As DC said, you can have the WL store and transport your luggage for you. I would suggest you check out of WL when you leave in the morning and head over to POP to check in. Even if you can't get into your room at that time, they can give you the keys and a time to call later in the day (which you can often do from Guest Services in the parks) when you can get the room number. That way you won't need to leave whatever park you are at early if you don't wish too.

you could just have wl pick up your bags in the room, go to whatever park you were going to that day, and when you leave the park take the bus to pop century and check in. That way you don't have a lot of disruption to your day.

Just a tip - you might be without your luggage for several hours, so take anything you might need. During our stay last week, we transferred from Pop to Poly. We arranged for our luggage to be picked up from Pop between 9:30 and 10 am. It did not arrive at the Poly until 5:30 pm. I remembered to bring everything I needed except aspirin :headache: which I really could have used and had so much of in my luggage. ;)

Thank you guys!!! I had no idea resorts would transport luggage for you! I should have known, because that way, people can spend more time in the parks and spend more money!!! :cool1:
