I'm looking at another option for transport to and from the airport next trip. Sale fares on Frontier are great from here right now. It has me getting in midday on Thursday and flying out at 7:30am on Sunday though. Ok as it will allow a few small trips in the budget.

I usually order some water and creamer for the room (if the room has a Kureg - need to check other resort as this was AWESOME at Coronado Springs). Found Quicksilver on net - they will do about $100 round trip with a grocery stop on the way in.

With the delivery fee from Prime Now and the early departure time on Sunday. Would you use ME (I usually do for the price lol) or do you think it is worth the investment?

Another option is to take Lyft, and see if the driver will swing you by Speedway on property. If you pay them they probably will. When I asked one driver about it he said it was no problem. The other option would be to take a Lyft from your resort to Speedway and back. I still think it would be cheaper even if you ended up taking two. and assuming Speedway has the creamer you want.

I would use DME. But $100 sounds like a good investment in your short vacation.

I might consider that one of these trips...

If you're going to use Uber or Lyft, be very clear with the driver about the location and especially duration of any stops.

Although both apps allow you to enter stops as part of your trip, the drivers are not obligated to honor those stops. The intent of those stops is to drop off or pick up other members of your party, not for shopping. The driver pay rates for Uber/Lyft in Orlando are the lowest in the US, so they are only paid pennies per minute to sit there waiting -- they really can't afford that downtime.

That said, you could probably work out a 20 minutes = $20 tip arrangement with the driver and come out MUCH better than the $100 fee you've been quoted.

The other option would be to take DME and use one of the grocery shopping/delivery services like WeGoShop or Garden Grocer. They'll deliver right to the resort for a very reasonable fee.

For the very little I order - Prime Now has the lowest fees for delivery to the hotel. I end up about an additional $10 over my order all in - a bit seeing as my order is usually less than $15. WeGoShop and Garden Grocer have higher minimums.

The only thought was the very early return to the airport to make it worth it. Though I also thought about checking out the morning prior and taking an Uber to the airport, spending the last night at the Hilton in the airport so I don't have to transport that morning. Leaving the resort at 4am just doesn't sound like a great way to end.

Well, given that, I would DME from the airport and use Prime Now for the groceries -- total cost $10.

To MCO, staying at the airport Hilton is one option -- with the price differential between the Hilton and your Disney resort to be considered if it's significant.

If you stay at the resort, you have two options -- DME free EARLY, or Uber for $25-$30 ordering 45 minutes before you want to be at the airport. (That's UberX. XL would be about $40)

You could also possibly check your luggage at the resort and send it via DME and just take your carryon items with you in the Uber. That would save luggage check time at the airport.

SO many options, lol...:fish:

IIRC CSR is the only WDW Resort with the Keurig's - the rest have the pod type single cup makers. I found the coffee pods on Amazon - have them shipped to me at home prior to a trip and pack what I need for the trip. Then I just grab a few extra creamers from the food court if they don't sell creamer in the grab n go.

I have used Quicksilver many times when staying at the Dolphin resort, we have had excellent service and Ii would recommend them.
However - when I am going to a WDW resort I just use DME - $100 can buy a lot of coffee water and creamer :)
