Transportation on NYE?

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to ask a few of the Dis Experts their thoughts on our hotel choice & transportation for our NYE Trip.

The cheapest rate I could find was the Motel 6 Maingate for Dec 30, 31, and Jan 1. Never stayed there before.

We are going to do DCA on NYE, but are wondering how we will get back to the hotel.

How late does ART run on NYE night?
Is it crazy busy, and will we have a hard time getting on?

What about cabs? Are there any to be found?

I also read on the Motel 6 website that they offer a shuttle. Does anyone know if that is separate from the ART?

I am having visions of pandemonium once the park closes and not being able to find a ride back.

Not sure how I feel about a 15 minute walk back to the hotel after spending an entire day walking around the park, and after midnight no less.

We always walk back, or I think you are close to the Toy Story parking lot at the hotel and you can use that shuttle.
