Transportation: Getting from the GF to the WP

I've been really struggling over thoughts of getting from the Grand Floridian to the Wedding Pavilion. Right now there will be 10 of us at the GF for pre-ceremony pictures. Right now the plan is for everyone to walk from the GF to WP. My parents are renting a vehicle (mini-van or large SUV) and can transport people as need (depending on weather, ect.). However, I think it would be really cool to have some sort of fun transportation from the GF to the WP (carriage, vintage car, boat, ect). However, I just cant justify spending the money for such a short time period. (Wonder if they give a discount for just using the horses and not the carriage? We own horses and can ride.. Tee hee! j/k)

What are peoples thoughts on this? Any suggestions for transportation? Anyone know the cheapest "fun" transportation option?

We will be using a vintage car (Rolls Royce) but we went with an outside company. It was VIP transportation. I thought the quote was reasonable and it's for 3 hours. So it will be taking us to the WP and than after our pics it will take us to our reception. If you want to pm I can give you the price they quoted me. HTH.

Are we able to use outside transportation companies at Disney? Wonder if I can find someone with a cheaper carriage, haha.

i wanted to do a walk back from the WP to the GF, but in the end didn't. we used a limo to take us to (after pics) and take us back after our couple pics. the rest of the time for the minimum rental we let the limo make trips and take people. it worked out best and was low headache and EASY!

i briefly entertained some of the cool, older cars until i read thru some PJs here nad saw that they barely hold 2 people per trip - too much hassle! good luck!

I'm not sure if that particular place has carriages, but we can definitely use outside companies. I've always wanted a Rolls and when I saw the price Disney was quoting I wasn't going to do it. But then someone else on this board mentioned this place and I looked into it and it was a way better deal. Good luck!
