transportation from Whittier

Hello - I am attending a conference in Whittier next month and staying at the Radisson. I would like to spend two days (Wed and Fri) and Disneyland. Do you have suggestions for transportation - the hotel does not offer a shuttle.

It is very close , I would think renting an economy car would be cheaper then a taxi, I would call the hotel and ask if that is available nearby.
