We are staying at the CBR in Disney and we want to spend a day at Sea World. How can we get there. I heard there is no shuttle service. We will take any suggestions.

You can take Mears or a similar transportation at $12/day. You can also take a taxi for around $35-$40. You can take the city bus called Lynx from the TTC to Sea World, but it takes about an hour and a lot of transfers to get there.

Thanks Barry. I have been wondering about the bus transfers and how many. Also, is the $12/day per person round trip or one way? We will be staying at Pop Century in June and going to Sea World for one day and to Discovery Cove another day and I am trying to figure out the most economical way to get there for the four of us.

The bus from WDW to SWF is #50, it's only 1 bus. It may work out. It leaves from the TTC and goes to a stop just outside of SWF. It's when you go from WDW to USF that it takes 3 busses.
Go on the Lynx site and look up route #50.

If you can handle waiting, you'd save a ton of money.
For Lynx, you'd have to take the Disney bus to the TTC, which they probably don't even go there, so you'd end up at Disney first, then take the monorail to the TTC, then find the Lynx bus and go to SWF. Then you'd have to reverse all this on the way home.
Using HappyLimo would cost alot more, but they'd be waiting at your hotel and you'd go straight to SWF. Wife, kid, and friend went from Disney to IOA for the day and it was $60 (plus tip) (round trip) using a limo service.

We just went from PopCentury to Seaworld last week.
We first took the Disneybus to Magic Kingdom then we took the monorail to the Ticket and Transportationcentre. Overthere is a Links busstop, look at the purple sign of a lynx' claw. Wait for bus #50. You only have to pay $1.25, you put it in a machine so you need it in cash. Seaworld is just 2 busstops away!!
This whole trip from hotelroom to Seaworld took less than a hour and saved us lots of money. The two of us travelled for $5!!
Try it, it is really easy.
You can get a bustimetable for bus#50 at the businformation at the TTC as well. :D

FromEurope....did you see the Discovery cove signs when you got off the bus at SW? I am wondering how long of a walk Discovery Cove would be from the bus stop.?

I am sorry, but I didn't see any Discovery Cove signs.
The #50 busstop is in front of the SWparkinglot, maybe DiscoveryCove is on the other side or something.
By the way the distances overthere are a lot smaller than at WDW. We crossed the whole parkinglot in less than 5 minutes!

If we take the bus to Sea World from Disney how long is the ride back to Disney and do we use the same bus number.

It is the same bus#50, only on the other side of the street.
And it takes maybe 20 minutes to get back to the ticket- and transportationcentre at WDW...
We were just in time to see Wishes at Magic Kingdom!

I just received a quote of $45 from Tiffany Town Car to take us from PC to DC. I figure we'll try the bus for our trip to SW and will see how that goes. If we don't like it, then we will arrange for TTC to take us to DC. Glad I got that resolved in my mind!

Bring on June!:sunny: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

I took the Lynx from the TTC to Seaworld last year. It worked out great! We are planning to do it again this year.

Off topic....DolphinBoy, I too live around St. Louis. Small world! I don't see that many people from St. Louis on these boards.

This will be our second time back. We leave in a little over 26 days!:bounce: :bounce:
But the airfair from STL is sooo expensive

DB-We are going in June and I was able to book American for 200.50 per ticket. I was surprised to get it that cheap. Must've been a short term deal because I see it's back up.

FromEurope -I can't even imagine what a plane ticket would cost from the UK to Florida.

Anyways, once we all get there, I'm sure we'll forget about the cost and just be thankful we're there! ::yes::

Enjoy your trip in 26 days and let us know what a great time you and your family had!

Back to your regularly scheduled DC and SW Dising!! Lol:) :)

I took the Lynx bus with my 7 & 8 yo dd's and was very nervous, but I have to tell you that it went off without a hitch and saved us about $40! The bus driver knew I was a first timer and was very reassuring, he even gave my dd's the student rate of .50! You can get a schedule on the bus so you know what time to be at the bus stop when you are ready to leave, and the bus was right on time!

See, it isn't difficult at all.
Maybe we should do the PR for Lynx, we are good at it:D
