Transportation from the late Hoop de doo to OKW

Should we plan on a taxi or have any of you had reasonable success getting home from the late Hoop de do review show (9:00 show) back to OKW on Disney transportation?

I've never done this show but I would guess you'll be able to get a bus to Downtown Disney and then hop a bus to OKW.

While we drov when we went to HDDR last year, they had busses directly back to your resort after the late show at that time. You took the internal bus back to the parking lot, then they had direct busses to each resort (or perhaps OWK and SSR shared). I don't know if they run those direct busses on a regular basis, or if it was some sort of special thing.

If MK is open or just closed (b/c buses run for an hour or more after) use the MK route. Take the bus to MK and then take the boat to HDD from MK. It's relaxing and takes you right to the end of FW where HDD performs. Even if MK closes early that night you can take the boat there and return by bus.

I always take the boats (MK/FW/WL and the smaller CR/WL/FW) to FW. Always. So peaceful.

When we went last month ( Sept ) they had buses right outside Pioneer Hall. They only use 3 or 4 buses to get everyone back to a Disney resort so depending on the order they go in it may be a little longer then taking a bus back from a park. Cast members ask where you are staying and they tell you which bus to get on.

I haven't seen this advertised so as they could cancel or discontinue doing it at anytime I guess, but they started doing this years ago like maybe 9 or more.

When you exit the show they have buses already standing buy to take you to all the resorts. You just tell then what resort you are staying at and they direct you to the bus for that resort. We have been many times to the last show and have never had a issue with getting back to our resort. They are not about to leave 100+ folks on their own to find a way back that late at night.. .smjj
