We are looking at renting a car to drive from Tampa to Disney and dropping off at the Car Care Center the day we get there. Is there transportation from the car care center to the parks? To the resorts?

Thanks!

There will be a shuttle offered, but you have to arrange it prior to arrival. They can drop you pretty much wherever you want to go...resort or park. If it were me? I would drive to WDW, go to the resort, get checked in, bags dropped off. Then, head to the CCC and return the car. Then you can get taken directly to a park rather than to the resort to get checked in.

That's not how I remember it.

It is true that if you are going from a park or resort to pick up at the CCC, you have to pre-arrange it. However, it sounds like they'll just be doing a dropoff at the CCC. I don't think you need to arrange that; they run a pretty regular shuttle out of there.

Just repeating what I was told by someone who used it. I guess there could very well be a shuttle running all the time. I would think it might behoove a guest to call and double check first though.

True, it couldn't hurt.

If you do, the number you should call is not the national Alamo rental number, but the local number for the CCC. According to Mousesavers, it is (407) 824-3470. The Alamo website shows the number as (888)826-6893, but at least all the Florida locations show that number. I'd try the 407 number first.
