I'm sure this has been asked many a time, but I can't seem to find a tread on it.
We just booked a trip to DL for November 10-14, flying into SNA. In the distant past I've used a bus that was affiliated with Disney to get from SNA to DL. But some internet searches I've done indicate that the cost of a taxi from SNA to DL wouldn't be much more than the price of the shuttle for a party of two. So - I'm thinking we will just take the taxi since it pretty much goes when we are ready, not on somebody else's schedule.
Anybody got suggestions otherwise?
If it matters, we are arriving at SNA about 4:30 pm and currently plan on staying at a hotel near the airport for that night since we will have been up very early that morning (flying from BOS) and doubt we will have the stamina to hit a park that night anyway. So we would take the free hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel, then catch a cab the next morning right at the hotel to minimize the hassle factor.
It seems funny to have to ask these questions because we go to WDW multiple times per year and are very familiar with the in's and out's of that trip.
