Transportation from SD to Anaheim

Hi, does anyone know what's the best way to get to Anaheim from San Diego on the chance we don't have a car...the only other alternative method I know is the Amtrak which seems like it is well priced...any other suggestions?

I believe it's about $24 one way? could be wrong...go to amtrak.com it will probably help more than I can.

Hi we just got back and this is how we went by Amtrak, we had a business class seat on the way up and it was really nice. I think the tickets were 20.00 each.very easy to use we got a cab to the Candy Cane Inn and it was around 8.00. stayed 3 days and went back to San Diego for another 6 days. don't miss Coronado island and the Del hotel and beach area-- hope this helps. lot's more info. on Amtrak.com

Thanks for the info on Amtrak. $20 - $24 per head might make sense for us if:

- Gas stays expensive.
- Rental Car deal isn't available.
- only 3 from our family come.
- or if we decide to "one way it" to SD (& then fly out of SD to back home).

Or if you don't like traffic. SD traffic seems always bad to me, and I'm a SoCal native. Of course YMMV.
