6 days and counting. I have never flown into Orlando, always drove from Illinois. How should we get to the resort?? I booked this long before I heard of Magical Express!! Darn it!! Should we take Mears, a Taxi, or what?? Please help. I have heard of Murry Hill. Thanks :earboy2:

You have several choices - Mears, taxi or Limo. I know a lot of people hate Mears but I've never had a problem with them. You might want to check Mears website and/or a couple of the limo companies to check prices.

If you're willing to spend more than Mears, then I suggest Quicksilver. They have a website too, and you can book the trip even as late as the day of...they are quite flexible. We've come to really enjoy their service and highly reccommend it to everyone!

How many people? 3 or more I would use a taxi or limo. 1 or 2, I would use Mears but expect to have to leave the resort 3 hours early to go to the airport.

How long are you going to be staying at WDW???
Are you planning on going to waterparks or downtown Disney?
And like you've been asked by previous posters, how many people in your party?
Are you planning any "offsite" visits?
All important questions to determine your transportation needs.

Our home resort for Disney vacation club is the boardwalk and we pretty much always rent a car for our family of four.
I'm not sure about cab fare but I'm thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 40.00?

Boardwalk is a very fun resort with a great pool and lots of dining choices and some entertainment in evenings. The location is the really nice feature being walking distance to EPCOT & MGM (or a short but sloooow boatride).
We always drive our car to waterparks and DD as the WDW buses can be slow and spotty to these destinations.
The WDW bus service to MK & AK can be hit & miss but we usually take the bus when going to these parks.
Good luck!
