What is the best way to get to the DLR from LGB?

There's been alot of discussion about this lately. I called LGB airport and the cabs from there is a flat $45. But coming back from DLR/ Good Neighbor hotels
is metered. So if you hit any traffic or construction it could be $$$$$. There was a number for a transportation co that will pick you up in a Lexus SUV for $48 gauranteed each way.That includes all og the airport fees and taxes

There is also Disney Express or other shuttle services but they are not private and you may have to make other stops before your hotel

not sure of the 'best' way...but you can rent a car, do a taxi or limo, or super shuttle. we're flying into LGB for the 1st time in december and we are renting a car.

What is the best way to get to the DLR from LGB?

Head straight on the main street out of the airport, which is named Wardlow Road and which changes name to Ball Road when you cross the "Orange Curtain" from LA County into Orange County. Keep going straight for about 13 1/2 miles, then turn right at either Disneyland Drive or Harbor Blvd, depending where you are staying. That's the best way. Here's a map.

I would hire a car service if it is a good size group of 4 or more. In Dec it is just DH and I so we are taking a shuttle. But we usually have a limo service.
