Transportation from LAX

I will be flying into LAX with my 3 kids. So there will 4 people total. Our flight will arrive around 7pm. We will be staying at a hotel across the street from Disneyland. What is our best option? I have researched a few shuttles, but wasn't sure how long this takes, etc. I was hoping to get some advise on what to expect from cab fares this time of night or possibly Uber. Also if we do go with a cab is there any grocery stores along the way where I could pick up water and snacks? Are cab drivers willing to do this for a fee in that area?

We did DK Livery service in 2014. It was about $90 or so, including tip and and a 20 minute grocery stop. The vehicle was a Honda Odyssey Van, plenty of room for luggage. I think it was about a 45 minute drive.

We have used Karmel shuttle too. Had no problems at all. Super Shuttle gets a lot of recommendations but we have had horrible trips with them. They are a shared van service & we have had 2 horribly long trips as they went to private homes for pick ups & drop offs & had a suitcase destroyed as a driver pushed, shoved & banged luggage around trying to make things fit. Yep, it's cheaper than a private car service. But we were faced with buying a suitcase on vacation for our return trip or paying the fee for an overweight bag. We'll never use them again!! Future trips will be with Karmel again.

Uber or Lyft will be a little over $40.

I like Uber, and you can usually find discount codes for using them..... If you're staying near Harbor/Katella there are lots of little stores right there,including Walgreens and CVS for grabbing small items,incl. food/snacks/bottled waters.(and umbrellas lol)My sis made the mistake of a taxi from LAX, very expensive. They Uber'd back to LAX,and are now hooked!
