Transportation from LAX to Anaheim Hilton

Hi DISers

Hoping you can help us out with this one...

My DH and I are heading to Disneyland mid Sept and are trying to figure out the transportation from LAX to our hotel, the Hilton Anaheim. Last time we were at DL we stayed at the Grand Californian (DVC points!) and so we used a shared bus service that pretty well took us, with minimal stops from LAX to the Disney hotel...I think it was affiliated with Disney, can't remember. Anyhow, I am not sure this will work this time around to the Hilton. We are just 2 adults (no kids) and aren't interested in the milk run tour to get from LAX to the hotel (we need to spend that time at the parks ).

We would go with a taxi but there is some conflicting info on the web as to price and whether that is even possible...something about cabs crossing into OC?

So, any advice or clarity or experience to what options we might have or choose?

We a taxi from SNA in June and just had to taxi stop at a 7-11 store for 5 minutes where we got a quick snack pickup.

Have never taken a taxi from LAX but it can be done. Not sure the cost. See above thread.

I booked a GO sedan for DH and myself for multiple trips on our upcoming vacation I believe a private sedan from LAX to a DL area hotel was about $90 including tip though PrimeTime Shuttles

We have booked a car for the day from LAX, from Hertz as it is located at the Marriott, just next door to our hotel the Hilton Anaheim for the way there, and we'll probably book something for the way back to LAX as we are leaving on a Sunday and as it turns out Hertz is not open to pick up a car on Sundays...thanks for the advice!
