I thought I would come to the experts here for a little advice. I am really starting to plan my upcoming December trip. We will have a rental car for the 1st half of our vacation when we are at Disney, but we have found that we don't need a car at Universal. Since we won't have a car to drive ourselves back to the airport, we are trying to figure out which is most economical for a family of 4. Should we take a taxi, take a shuttle such as Mears, or reserve a towncar service? What should we expect to pay? Any help is appreciated!

With a family of 4 I would skip mears, it wouldnt be cheaper than a cab or a town car. I would price tiffany or some of the other popular companies mentioned on the transportation board. I have a feeling you will make out just as well as just grabbing a cab to the airport.

:cool1: We just returned last week from HRH and we used Tiffany roundtrip from MCO.Cost was $90.00(roundtrip).Be sure to download onetime $5.00 coupon.We were also a family of 4.My son flew in a couple of days later his cost was the same(also used coupon).They were great.At the airport they wait for you by luggage with your name on a card.Upon picking us up at hotel,same thing.No troubles or issues at all.We wanted a grocery,liquor stop on way to hotel and our driver(max)took us to a strip mall that had both(no extra charge) :thumbsup2 !

Most times there is no discount (can't use coupon) for one-way transfer. Use Tiffany, FL Tours or we always used Happy Limo....

i use car service.

have used loudan's, tiffany, fl tours, and quite a few others.
using sunray this september.

changed to sunray as they are beating the competitiors.
paying $112 for a 3 leg trip.....mco/disney....disney/UO hotel/ UO/mco

getting sunray with a coupon for that price also getting a free 30 minute stop.

i like them all, and use the car service that beats the other prices.
i can't say anything bad about any of them.
i do prefer some over others but i book the one that i get the discount with.

looks like you only need one rt. from disney to uo and then to mco.

check out the car service sites.
the cheapest one i found was for $82 rt.
