I have a question. We are planning to go to the ESPN club on Sunday, Sept 5th at night and I wonder how to get back to POR. We probably will not get out of ESPN very early and want to know if we can get a bus from the International Gate or want. How long is Epcot open to get out for bus transporation.

Might be easier to catch the Boardwalk bus to DTD and catch a bus there back to POR. Might save you time as opposed to taking the boat to International Gateway (there are no busses at the International Gateway, its just an entrance into and out of the park, you enter between France and England) and walking to the front of Epcot to catch the resort busses.

MGM is opened til 8:30 and they should have busses running back to your resort til 9:30.

You can walk to the Epcot International Gateway from ESPN in maybe 5 minutes. IF the park is still open you can enter (need theme park ticket) and walk through to the main entrance where the buses are located. It's a long walk, but doable. You can also either walk to the Disney Studios in maybe 15-20 minutes or boat over from the Boardwalk. The walk is faster unless you catch a boat right away. As the previous poster said, buses from there should be running until 9:30 that night if the park closes at 8:30. You do not need to enter the Studios.
Your other option if you want to stay really late is to grab a taxi from any of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk being the closest to ESPN). Just walk through the lobby and out the main entrance. Normally taxis are waiting outside all WDW resorts. If one is not available a Cast Member will get one for you right away. Fast, convenient, and reasonable way to get back to your resort.

Thanks for the info. Maybe we will try the bus to DTD and go back to the Resort.
Thanks for the quick info.
Have a magical day

We may stay at POR in March and we'll be hitting Jellyrolls once or twice and we won't be leaving early. I'm looking at getting a cab as I've been told that few point to point trips in WDW cost more than $5 by cab. I'll pay that, plus tip, to save the time and hassle.

This may be true in theory, but you wouldn't consider taking a cab from the YC to BW :teeth:

Two years ago we took a cab from BW to MK and it cost about $9 plus the tip
