Was wandering about the transportation from Downtown disney hotels to the parks and blizzard beach, specifically the Best western Lake buena vista. They dont use the disney buses? Is there longer wait times for this system as opposed to staying at a disney resort and using disney busses?

We are going last week of July and first week in Aug, unfortunatly before value season starts on Aug 5. We have 2 teenage sons who dont like sharing a full size bed, so we are looking for rooms with 2 queen size. That leaves out the value and moderate disney hotels. Delux disney hotels are more than we want to spend.

We are concidering the swan for about $180/night with discount, compared to $80/night at Best Western LBV. Any other options out there?

well if you are willing to not stay on Fri or sat - or stay somewhere else. there a DVC resorts - OKW, SSR, BWV, BCV and VWL.

you can rent a reservation from a DVC member.

they are considered WDW deluxe resorts.

OKW has 2 queen beds.

the others have 1 queen bed and a double sleeper sofa.

OKW will be $110 to $154 per night. - DVC resorts are WDW resorts and comes with all the onsite stuff. DME, EMH, and mostly wdw transportation.

that say the Best Western is a DD hotel and they share with the other DD resorts - the buses come about every 30 minutes to a park.

the WDW resorts buses are the only thing that nows come to DD.

so you would need to go to DD caught a WDW resort bus then get on the park bus you want to go to - this could easily take longer than riding your bus to the parks.
