Transportation from CSR to Character Breakfasts?

Hello -
I'm hoping that you seasoned DisneyWorld professionals will have an answer to this question...

We are staying at Coronado Springs Resort & we have ADRs for character breakfasts at Chef Mickey's (7:05 AM ADR) and Ohana's (7:35 AM ADR). We are not renting a car for this trip. Do any of you know if we'll be able to get a shuttle to the Contemporary and Polynesian resorts this early? If not, do you have any suggestions of how we might get there?

I guess I should have looked into this earlier, but I saw something about early mornign character breakfast shuttles, but just noticed that those are shuttles to the parks (e.g. Crystal Palace, etc.).

I was just coming to post the same question, except we're staying at CBR. I am making breakfast ADRs for Kona Cafe and Chef Mickey's, and I wondered about getting there early from our resort.

I also wondered if we are allowed to use the monorail or boat if we are staying at CBR but need to get to the parks from another resort after a meal.

And I was worried that there wouldn't be enough to plan (i.e. obsess) about after finally choosing a resort!

I believe all buses start running 45 min prior to the parks opening and two hours after they close, unless there are extra magic hours. Hope this helps.

Hi there -
Usually, you can take one of the park buses from your resort to MK (they do run early for breakfast ADRs), and catch the monorail to your resort (CR or Poly) for your breakfast. The buses that we took that pick up at the resorts say something like "Character breakfast-Magic Kingdom", for example. I know someone will correct me, it's been a year since we went and the memory does unfortunately fade. You can always catch a cab from your resort to the resort where your ADR is - I believe it was $11 for cab fare from Poly to CSR (we had late dinner ADRs last year). Also, mention to the driver when you get on that you have an ADR for Chef Mickey for example - they may drop you right at CR - they did that for us last year for a dinner reservation.

We stayed at CSR in October 2006 and we had an 8am breakfast scheduled for Ohana with Lilo and Stitch. We had no problem getting there and actually lucked out quite a lot in getting there before the restaurant even opened.

I had read to allow an extra half hour for travel time to get to reservations so we were at the bus stop before 7am (we stayed in Cabanas). Magic Kingdom was the first bus that came along and the only other person on it was a conventioneer who got off at el Centro. Before we left the main bus stop, after the bus driver saw that no one was getting on, he asked where we were going. We mentioned breakfast at Poly and he said he would take us there personally since no one else was on the bus. We felt like we had our own personal driver and like I said, the restaurant wasn't even open yet; we had about 10 mins to walk around the upper level at Poly. Once it did, I explained to the host about wanting to allow for travel time and she said it was wise then gave us a beeper while we waited. It went off within five minutes and they sat us down at the closest table to where the characters enter and exit so we got them coming and going. It was one of the best experiences we had at any character meal!

So to make a long story short, yes you can take a bus to the park that is closest to where you have your early breakfast then transfer to the mode of transportation that will get you there.

Bus stops have CM's in the morning and they ask your destination. They have buses to get you to all your early morning ADR's.
