I had asked this question on the resturant pages and was told to ask over here.

We have made reservations for the Cape May breakfast and are staying at the CSR. How do I go about getting there? I know that Disney transportation doesn't go from resort to resort so, what is my best way to get there? I don't want to rent a cab either! If it is going to be too hard might want to cancel this breakfast. Any help would be apprecitated!

Your choices for getting to BC from CSR aren't great ones, but I'll give you the best one I can think of.

Take the bus from CSR to MGM, then catch one of the boats from MGM to EPCOT. That boat will stop at BC/YC on its way to EPCOT.

This will probably take at least 45 minutes, I'm sorry to say. But the only other alternative would take even longer (busing to EPCOT, then walking through EPCOT to the Intl. Gateway exit and on to BC).

One thing you could try to do is see if there's a special bus that is making a trip to BC for that breakfast. Sometimes there are special buses that make trips to the character breakfasts. Failing this, you could simply ask one of the drivers of the EPCOT bus if he can somehow let you off at BC after he drops off EPCOT guests. I have found the bus drivers to be (somewhat) flexible in the past some times.

Your original post did say you don't want to take a cab, but this may be one situation where a cab would really be preferable to what Disney transportation can offer you. Also, it probably wouldn't be all that expensive, since BC isn't really all that far from CSR for the purposes of a cab ride.

I would take a cab. I know you'e prefer not to but it might just be the ony way to get there in a timely manner. Just let a CM out front know and they will get one for you. There are usually several right there in the parking lot so you shouldn't even have to wait for one. The Beach Club isn't far so the cost should be minimal.
After breakfast you can catch a bus (or boat, depending on where you're going) to whichever park you're headed to that day!
I've had the breakfast at Cape May. It's very good and we enjoyed the character interaction, even though we were all adults we were definitely not ignored!

It's been a few years since we have stayed at CSR, but I thought that they had a bus that went to the Boardwalk?

If they still do, you could always take the bus to the boardwalk and then walk over to the Beach Club. Otherwise, I would take a cab.

The CSR to Boardwalk bus was discontinued about 4 years ago.

Sounds about right. That's the last time I stayed there.
