transportation for Minnie?

Ok...I didn't realize at the time of registration that Disney didn't provide tansportation to the Minnie. This trip it is just going to be me, DH, and the two boys.I would hate for them to have to wake up so early just to drop me off at EPCOT, and then wait there for however long it would take me to finish. How is everyone here planning on dealing with the transportation issue?

If you can't just take the car, you could have tehm drop you off adn walk to teh Epcot monorail or bus stop after the race.

It's that, take a cab or find soemone else going from your resort. Not too many otpions.

Where are staying? There are some folks on the Minnie thread that may be sharing cabs or riding together.

We are at Saratoga Springs and may be getting a cab or something...Same thing... I think the family will be at the finish line, but that still gives them a few more hours to sleep!

I'm at AKV and dh plans to get up to take me to the start of the 15K, we'll have a rental car, so I'm sure we could fit in 2-3.

We are going to be at AKL - just wondering - for the 15k I know my DH could most likely drop me off at the start line but if I want him to be at the finish line will he be able to get through to drive on the roads? What would be the best thing for spectators?

I will be at All Star Sports and it may be just me, I'm willing to take a few in my car with me to EPCOT and then catch bus to starting line. If My Mom goes, she may be able to drop a few of us off at AK, or she may want to sleep in a bit and I can still take a few with me. (I could even pick up anybody at Coronado Springs along the way.)

I've also found that bunnyfoo is staying at POFQ and i think we're going to try to get a cab- so there's no reason we couldn't stop by POR too.

We should start some sort of ride list!

I was wondering the same thing. DH definitely wants to be at, or near, the finish line after droppping me off. I'm assuming the roads will still be open that early, so he should be able to go park in Epcot's lot. Is that workable?
I'm getting so exicted about this race!!!!!

As far as I know I have room, I can seat up to 7 people, fold down third row in Explorer, and I don't think anyone has taken me up on my offer yet.

I was going to drive to finish at Epcot and take bus to start at AK that's what we did last year, worked out good. I will warn you I like to get there a little bit before start, not at last minute like DH did for 1/2 this year. It was so fun to meet up with everyone at start last year!!!!

It was my first WISH meet, ohhhhhh!!!! I'm getting sooooooooo excited.

The roads should all be open if he drops you off at start, he should have plenty of time to get to Epcot.

Right now I am at SSR. I am on the waitlist for AK however.

I will have a car as I am planning to go visit my Dad that weekend and will be moving to an offsite hotel for a conference the rest of the week. So if I don't move I would be glad to give you and your DH a ride.

I will probably have a full size car so I can fit one or two others in. (Depends on how much you like each other LOL!)
