Hi! I need some help determining transportation. We are going to Disney World October 22-29/11. We are staying at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. I am not sure what time the buses begin service from our resort.
We have 3 breakfast reservations:
10/23 7:30am @Kona Cafe' in the Polynesian
10/24 7:45am @Kouzzina at the Boardwalk
10/25 7:30am @ Floridian Cafe'@ Grand Floridian
Can anyone help us with the best transportation options? Are taxis required?
I appreciate your help. Thanks sooooo much.

Since buses don't run from resort to resort, you'd have to take a bus from your resort to a park, then grab a bus from that park to the resort you have your ADR at - which is time consuming. We usually give ourselves 45 min to an hour to get from the resort to whatever park we're going to - plus you'd have to add more time to get to the other resort, so yes, taxi is probably the easiest way to do it.

A taxi is your best option. At SSR, you will probably want to walk to the Carriage House for pickup; I wouldn't trust the cab drivers to be able to find your particular building.

I absolutely second getting a taxi! I don't know from experience, but if those are restaurants that give tables away if the party isn't there on time, you don't want to chance missing your ADR time. A taxi takes a bit of the worry away. :thumbsup2

:goodvibesI appreciate the advice. It looks like taxis are our best options. Thanks to all who responded.

I'm one of those who tries to use the early morning buses as often as possible. But, in your case, cabs are just about the only way to do it. Since the buses don't start running until 6:30, you will be hard pressed to get to another resort quickly enough to make it to a 7:30am ADR. Just about the only time that would work out is if the ADR was at the CR...then you could take the bus at 6:30, and then walk over to the CR for breakfast. But, even with the Polynesian and GF, you have to get the bus, no later than 6:30, get to MK, then monorail over to the Polynesian or GF...going to be tight.
So, just to go along with everyone else, use cabs..much less stressful.

I appreciate your help.Cabs will be the mode of transportation to the breakfasts. At least the parks are an easy monorails ride/ & a boatride from the Boardwalk/Yacht club area to Hollywood Studios will make it a nice transition for the start of the day. Thank you.
