Transportation between resorts

My husband and I are staying at AK Jambo one night then trAnsferring to Grand Floridian for one night before our DCL cruise had to split reservation it appears to be very busy in Orlando the first weekend in October. I was wondering how to get to Grand Floridian we are not renting a car. Thanks.

Option 1: Take taxi from AKL to GF (approx $20).

Option 2: Have bell services transfer luggage to GF.
Take bus from AKL to AK (or MK), transfer to GF bus (or monorail).

The PP noted the two most likely options for getting between AKL and GF.

If you want to transfer your own luggage, then you pretty much have to go the taxi route (no luggage allowed on Disney buses). Back in March of 2013, it cost $22.80 plus tip to get from AKL to GF. I would expect prices to have risen, so I would estimate between $25-$30 plus tip.

Otherwise, you can send your luggage via the transfer service. Just note that the luggage probably won't show up until later afternoon/early evening at GF. Then you can get to GF however you'd like using Disney transportation.

We used Uber a few times in August to get from resort to resort and it was about half the typical price for taxis.
