Transportation between parks

I have a question. My family *might* have an opportunity to use a friends time share in Orlando. This would be significantly cheaper than us staying on site at a Disney Hotel. That being said we wouldn't have the transportation option from the site where we are staying. My question is can you say start your day at MK and then go to AK driving a personal vehicle do we have to pay to park twice? I know we could get on a bus to a hotel and then transfer to the park of our choice but this seems time consuming. Does anyone have any other advice in this situation? Thanks!!!!

At the second park, you just show your receipt to the CM at the toll booth.

You do not have to take a bus to a resort and then to a park. There is direct non stop transportation between the four major parks.

Between Epcot, DHS, and AK there are busses. (there are also boats between Epcot and DHS, or you can walk - takes ~35 minutes)

Between Epcot and MK there is the monorail

Between MK, DHS, and AK there are busses

The park to park transportation to/from MK is at the TTC.

Once you pay for parking, it is valid for the rest of the day in all four theme parks. Simply keep the receipt, and show it to the Toll Plaza CM on your way in.

There's also Park-to-Park transportation available. With the exception of the MK, all of the buses are direct. For the MK, the bus will pick up/drop off at the Transportation Center (aka MK Parking Lot).
