Transportation Between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge

I have a few questions regarding Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge.

1. What is the first stop on the boat from the MK? FW or WL? Plus what is the order in both directions using the boat? What is the start and end time for the boats?

2. Besides walking between the two resorts (an exhausting idea) are there any buses or boats that connect the two resorts?

3. Is there enough time to go from the 5:15 Luau at the Poly to the Campfire Program at FW? We are assuming the Luau is one hour and we heard the Campfire is either at 7 or 8 PM. This would be for May 6th.

Quesion for Tyler (Chip 'n Dale Express) if you are reading this: Do we have to take an internal bus to get to the campfire from the marina? If so, which one? Also would there be enough time to do the campfire (maybe even the movie) and get back to the marina for the 9:45 Electric Light Parade?

Thank you in advance for any help? We are planning each day and our stuck on the above questions? Can't wait for the warm Disney weather.:D

The route will vary depending on the time of day. In the morning, it goes FW -> WL -> MK. After 3pm, it's WL -> FW -> MK. Boats run starting at 8:30am-45 mins after the MK closes.

There is a bus that connects WL and FW. When the Orange Route bus leaves the Outpost, it heads to the Settlement as usual. When it gets to the Settlement, instead of heading back to the Outpost, it converts to Wilderness Lodge/Transportation Ticket Center. It goes to WL/TTC, and comes back and becomes an Outpost Orange bus.

From the Poly, you can walk to the TTC, although from the Luau Cove, it might be a hike. The monorail will save you the walking at the expense of 10 extra minutes. The WL/FW bus that you pick up at the TTC turns into the Orange (as mentioned above), which is the bus you want for the Campfire. It's probably a 15 minute ride from the TTC to the stop for the campfire. Just talk to the driver for details as to which stop you want.

As to the Luau, the 1 hour assumption is incorrect. 5:15 is check-in time. They seat between 5:30 and 5:40 and start serving. Show does not begin until dinner is almost over. It ends close to 7. Thus, if that campfire begins at 7, you will likely be late.

Tyler, thanks for your answers. If we see you we will say howdy.

drusba, thanks for your enough. Boy were we wrong. At least now we know what to expect.

Thanks a bunch for your answers. Now we know what to expect and won't be stress out. Not a good thing after a meal. Thank you to both of you.
