A friend and I are going to Disney for four days in October. It's the second time we've visited this year, and we really want to make it to Universal this time around. I've heard something about a "Maers Transportation Company." People have told me the company will run a shuttle at your convenience from Disney to Universal for $15 a person. I don't know if this is true, or if I have the name of the company right, or any hard info on the company at all.

I'd also like to know how long of a distance it is from the All Star Sports Resort to Universal. We'll be flying in, so we're limited to public transportation to get around.

Has anybody tried this? Is there any feasible means of transport between the resorts and the park?

Thanks!

Here you go...try this link.....http://www.mearstransportation.com/index.htm It should give you some info. Other than using Mears shuttles, you could use a taxi cab or a towncar service. We are doing this in Oct also but we have four people going, so using a towncar service is cost efficient for us. A towncar is about $70 plus tip. If we used Mears shuttle, it would be about $60. We'll spend a bit more and be pampered since it's a ladies only trip.
Welcome to the DIS boards by the way!!
