Transportation at Bay Lake/Contemporary

Just an FYI we got back last night, stayed Sun - Wed. No monorail to Epcot right now, not sure when it will run again. CM's said "next year." The buses were ok going to Hollywood Studios. But yesterday we went to Disney Springs before heading to the airport. It was a total joke. So they have signs for the lines for all the parks. And there were lines for all of them, no sign for Disney Springs, so we asked a CM where to stand, and she told us to have a seat on a bench. So we waited about 20 minutes and a bus did finally come. Naturally, nobody was there to set up the line, so everyone who got there after us rushed up and got on. The cast members finally came over, and I reminded the one who told us to sit down, and asked what the deal was, and her and another guy said they were doing the best they could. Actually no, not really but, whatever, I said my peace, and sat and waited for the next bus. Just an fyi for everyone, speak up early about, if there are long lines for the resorts because the CM's really don't have it under control. Or just take a cab/uber.

We plan to Uber to Epcot and DHS when we are there. Just easier than bus early on in the day.

Yea we go back in Feb and are staying at Beach Club. We've never stayed there, so we will have to figure out how the best ways are to get to/from everything.

If we go to MK when staying in Epcot area, we just Uber to Grand Floridian and monorail over...now, will walk.

It’s one of the reasons we normally do split stay, even for 4 nights...so we can get places without buses.

The monorail is running to the resorts, just not to epcot. And yea, who knows when next year means as far as it going back to epcot, we didn't ask. I did ask about FP's. The CM we talked to said they haven't been told when or if they will be coming back.

We own BLT and transportation to Hollywood Studios, AK and Disney Springs is terrible. A lot of people walk over or take the monorail from Magic Kingdom to grab those busses or they ride the bus back to BLT from those parks to walk to Magic Kingdom.

mad stayed at BLT in October and had no issues with bus transportation but it was a less busy time than the holidays. We are staying at BLT again in a week but will only rely on bus transportation once this trip (to HS) and hoping we don’t experience what you did.
