Well, here is the deal. I will be taking a Song flight from NYC to Orlando on August 15th. The flight is supposed to land at 3:06pm. I had planned on taking the DME, but have read a lot of bad stuff about it on this board and others. I am staying at the Grand Floridian. I want to get to the GF quickly since I want to head over to Epcot right away (We have dinner reservations there at 6:50pm). I need to know if I should take the DME or get a car service? I want to be at Epcot by 5:30pm or 6pm. Is this possible with DME and the check-in procedures?

Just want your opinion on what I should do. I am checking two bags so if I took a car service I would have to weight for the bags to come down, but if I took DME I would have to wait for the bus to leave and to stop at all the other resorts (I heard GF was the last stop).

Just weigh in for me so I have second-opinions!

I've read some of the same reviews, but honestly, I can't imagine it would take you more than 90 minutes to get from the airport to the resort, whether you stop at other resorts or not. If I understand DME correctly, you may or may not travel with your baggage to the resort. I think it depends on how busy it is, or how slow the baggage delivery is at the airport. You may not get in your room right away, but you certainly should be able to leave your bags with bell services and head to EPCOT, and be there by 5:30 easy.
