I have been hearing some horrible bus stories lately and I am trying to decide if we should just park our car at the hotel and leave it all week or if we should use it for some things or for everything. Here are our plans....what do you think? Tell me if we should use the car...

Wednesday
Arrive early at BWV, get our KTTK
Magic Kindgom-all day
Dinner at O'hana at 7:40
Thursday
Port Orleans FQ for bengiets
Water Park
Dinner at Ragland Road at 6:30
Pleasure Island
Friday
Animal Kingdom
AKL
Dinner at Boma at 4:30
Saturday
Epcot
Back to the hotel/BWV
Back to Epcot right before dinner
Dinner at Rose & Crown at 5pm

Just what we would do

Friday** Drive, bus from AKL to BWV is a pain

I would think that if you had your car I'd stick with taking that as much as possible. It will give you the freedom of being able to get going whenever you want rather than being tied down to the bus schedule. We have rented a car every year since 2002, and have not regretted it at all. The only time we haven't utilized the car was when we stayed a couple of nights at the CR last year, and the year prior when we had 3 nights at WL. We found that either walking or monorailing to the MK from the CR was easier, and the boat from the WL was sufficient enough for us. However, once we moved to our home resort at the BCV the car was really a lifesaver.

I guess it all depends on where you're staying at for your trip, but I'd stick with the car so you have flexibility.
 

Buses were fine during our 12 day stay at BWV over the last 2 weeks. We had only one time we waited too long in my opinion, for a bus from DTD to BW at 10:30 at night... took 40 minutes.
