Transportation around disney questions

We are booked at ASMo, but my parents are staying off site. They are not going to MK with us so we will be using disney transportation (they are keeping the van) So my questions are:

1) We want to come back to the resort for a mid day break. Approx how long is the wait for the bus back to the resort?

2) We have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's the first night we are there. My parents are going with us as well. Can they drive into the resort to pick us up? Can we park at the contemporary or is it only for that resorts guests?

You can park at the Contemporary if you have a dinner PS. They will probably give you a 3 hour pass. Even though your parents are keeping the van, get a parking permit from All Star. This will allow them to come and go easier.

In the middle of the day, it's probably around a 15 minute wait....
