My partner and I are coming in early February for a work conference. We are flying into lax and have to be in Hollywood for 3 days for work. Then it's all play time. What do you guys suggest as the easiest form of transportation. Lax to omni hotel Hollywood. Omni hotel to vgc disneyland. Then dl hotel back to lax?
While I don't want to spend a fortune, we are not so budget conscious. Really looking for easiest option.

I don't think there is an Omni hotel in Hollywood. There's one in downtown, however. Do you know the address?

Are you sure that it's an Omni in Hollywood? The easiest way is to rent a car. There are airport shuttles, but the cost from an LA hotel to Anaheim would be expensive. You could try a town car for that LA to Anaheim move, but it will likely be a minimum hourly rate, since no airport stop is involved. You get free parking for the DVC portion, right? Look for a good weekly rate on a rental car.

1) Car. California is very car centric and would be great to get around and see what you want. Public transpiration blows...or is non existent.

or

2) Uber

I'm guessing you mean the Omni downtown. If so, they should have an airport shuttle that can pick you up at LAX and drop you off at the hotel. Finish your conference (if you will actually be downtown, then you can use the Red Line metro, busses, the DASH, or walk to see things nearby), then rent a car to get to Anaheim, if you want to see things outside the resort area. The hotel should have a rental desk. There are return offices near DLR. If you want to stay on the resort property for all your Disney time, then Uber may be a good idea.

If you will be Downtown, you can take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner to Anaheim. This may be an especially good option if you would otherwise be driving during rush hour and if you don't need a car once in Anaheim. -- Suzanne

Also going to have to say "car". It sounds like you will be in CA for more than a few days, in more than just DL, and this will provide you some flexibility and logistical peace of mind. As said we are very car-centric in CA. While there is public transit, in all honesty it's a pain in the rear. Get a rental car and some sort of gps and you're good to go.
