<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=#006400>That is pretty much it. The DLR is pretty small, and you can walk anywhere. I've walked from the parking structure that services DL & DCA to Downtown Disney, and I don't think it took me a whole 5 minutes to do so. There is a little bus that goes between Paradise Pier & DLHotel, and there is the Anaheim trolley that goes from the various hotels to DLR. Other than that and private transportation, you walk everywhere.... oh, and there are the various vehicles on Main Street and the DL train, which goes around the park, and stops at Main Street, New Orleans Square, entrance to Toontown, and Tomorrowland.
Thanks a lot... i thoughyt that DCA was going to be further that it is then. I guess im still stuck in WDW mode. 20 min bus ride to anyplace.
Thanks again
Hopefully you can link to this pic and you will see how close everything is. The entrances to Disneyland and DCA face eachother a couple hundred feet apart and the 3 Disney hotels are right near eachother with Downtown Disney wedged in between everything!
Park Hopping really takes on a whole new meaning. The distance was the deciding factor for us on our next trip. Our last trip was also to DLR and I was amazed at how much more relaxed I was. No worry about hurrying to catch the monorail/bus/boat to get to MK/AK/Epcot/MGM in time to see the Show/fireworks/parade. I'll go back to WDW eventually, but I'm in no hurry
Relaxed is just how our first trip to DLR was, last week! I was pleasantly surprised, no traveling for 20 minutes to get to the park, no waiting in long bus lines, we loved it. We thought WDW was great until we were in DLR
Im glad everyone is saying this i was worried it wasnt going to be as good... i just hope the lines are long and killer... im going during christmas...
10 days!
