Transportaion to Disney from Orlando/Sanford airport

Hi. We are flying into Orlando/Stanford airport and are looking for a way to Pop Century without renting a car. Does anyone have any good suggestions? So far Happy Limo and Payless Transportation seem like the best deals. Has anyone used these companies before? Are they reliable? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I am looking for cheap as possible, but also convenient and reliable. There are only 2 of us. Thanks for any help.

DH and I have always used Tiffany Town Car. We do not have children. When we are alone we have a towncar pick us up, with other family we get a van. Checked prices tonight and from MCO it is $109 for towncar and $125 for van from MCO, Sanford is always more expensive anytime to get a car service. They provide a 30 minute grocery stop that we used last year. They keep a record of my usuage and can pull up last years driver if I happened to like them. We have used them at least 6 times and they are always on time and professional. We did have one driver who was too intense, nice but scared us with his speed, so we politely requested a different driver. When we were thinking of flying Alligient into Sanford, all of the prices were around $170 with all of the companies I checked. It may be cheaper to rent a car for the day. I think if you rent from Alamo you can turn it in at the rental place near the Swan. I am pretty sure it is Alamo that has a place there.

We always stayed at Pop too until last year, love that place. We will be there again 11/30 for one night before checking into AKV. It is so much fun ohhh

Hi, in 2008 we used transportation2disney.com they were great not too expensive and you can get the Grocery stop too which saves the $

Check the Sanford Airport web site, orlandosanfordairport.com. The companies there will normally give you the best prices you can find. Orlando transportation companies have to make up the extra miles to Sanford by charging a little bit more in their prices.

Be leary of STS Sanford Airport. They have been unreliable, documented on disboards, in returning to pick up passengers for return to Sanford. I have also seen Payless arrive at the airport with a sedan for 12 passengers. The passengers waited at the airport approximately an hour for another vehicle.

Thanks for all your info and opinions! And good to hear that you loved Pop so much. I was a little nervous just because some people say the Values aren't nearly as good as the moderates, but I've also heard of people who love Pop. We won't have any children with us either, so I'm glad to get your perspective.
