transportaion from Disney Resorts

Hi

We are returning to Disney in Feb and wanted to include a trip to Universal Studios in that trip. I was wondering if anyone here used a specific website to order tickets, or used any of the package deals that include transportation.

What are your thoughts, comments, or opinions? I'm starting to plan now and want to make sure I plan something reliable.

We did the opposite and went from Universal to Disney. What we did was use Mears Motorcoach. It was very easy to do and we arrived before the park opened and stayed until closing.

If during the day you decide you had enough you simply call 2 hours before you want to be picked up.

I go to WDW several times a year and do use Mears to go over to Universal for a day or two. It's $19.00 r/t. I think kids get a discount though.

each person that rides on the shuttle bus pays the fee.

that cost covers round trip per person in the shuttle.

We are going in Oct and while $19pp is a good deal I went to the Mears site and priced a cab. There will be 6 of us so a cab (van) is a better deal.

Question - do the Orlando taxicabs take credit cards or should we plan on paying cash if we decide to use a taxi??

I have taken cabs that take credit cards. But you have to let them know from the beginning because some cabs do not have the credit card machine.
