Hi all, just a few questions as my head is spinning from planning!!!
We're heading to DLP in Oct half term (not my choice of dates!) as DD aged 10 is dancing with her tap troupe on the Tues afternoon there. Cool eh?!!!
The dancing teacher is organising the Newport Bay rooms but we have to sort our own transport. Originally they were going to hire a coach and travel via the shuttle direct to the hotel. This would have cost around £80 per head return for 40 passengers. There have been several changes to this with some wanting to travel to London and stay overnight before going as foot passengers on the shuttle, and some opting to fly from our local airport at Teesside, I know its now Durham Tees Valley, I just can't get my head around saying it!!
We have several family members who would like to travel with us, around 14 in total. SO.... my question is, in your opinions what is the best way to get there - factor in time/hassle/cost!
I believe the coach would have been the best option being hassle free and cost effective, and as I work for the coach company I know all the drivers and the buses are first class (no I'm not on commission!). If we could get our numbers up to 30/40 I would book this myself. The plane is more costly even going BMI baby, and the train would be a hassle.
HELP!!!!
Cheers
Lynn
