Transport Time from Art of Animation

Hi!
Never been to WDW before - total newbie!
Staying at AoA and going Nov 7-14. How long can I expect it to take to get to the parks each morning on disney busses? (Going for rope drop)

I tend to figure on 45 mins total. You may get right on a bus, but you could also just miss one and have a 15-20 min wait.

So that's for each park, because some seem a lot closer/farther away from AoA than others?

I am always at the bus stop 1 hour before the park opens.

I'd give it an hour too, especially for Magic Kingdom. When I stayed at AoA it took 20 minutes for the drive itself, plus the time waiting for the bus (if it's a long queue you won't make it onto the first bus that pulls up) and the walk from the bus to the MK gate.

HS or AK can probably cut it a little closer since they're near the hotel.

That's not why I'm on the bus an hour before opening. At that time there will not be a ton of people waiting for the bus.

The reason is that being toward the front of the pack at rope drop will save you a lot of waiting time over the course of the day as opposed to being at the back of the pack.

When we stayed at AoA, it took much longer than expected to get to HS. Even though it's just around the corner, we spent a lot of time on the bus in traffic. Just bad timing in the morning, I guess.
