Hi all,

I'm a long time reader of the site, and a first time poster. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone here for all of the advice, tips, tricks and trip reports; it has been invaluable in planning our upcoming holiday.

In about a month my wife and I will be travelling to Disneyland on our honeymoon. We have pretty much everything sorted (hotels, park tickets, PP+ etc), but the one thing we are missing is transportation to and from LAX. We would ideally like to use a car service, but not if it ends up being prohibitively expensive.

We have narrowed our search to three options:

Discount Sedan and Limousine
Execucar
Disneyland Resort Express

I know a lot of you have used the Disneyland Resort Express bus, but has anyone used either of the other two? If it helps, we will be staying at DLH.

Thanks in advance!

We have done the Disneyland Resort Express bus and it takes awhile to get to the Disneyland area but it is a good price. The bus can be very crowded with lots of kids.

This time we are arriving at 11:30pm and the Disneyland Resort Express bus isn't running that late. I read several reviews and comments and I booked with Lansky. They meet you at baggage claim with your name on a sign. Kind of cool!
It was $95 to the Anaheim area.

We used Lansky two weeks ago. It was $95 from LAX to Anaheim and $85 for the return trip. They will also do a grocery store stop if you need it (we didnt).

The only issue we had was that our driver at LAX didn't know we had prepaid. Luckily I had a copy of my receipt and there was no issue once I showed him that. I would use them again.

For a honeymoon I would ditch the Express. But if you did want a shared shuttle, I would far prefer to use Karmel Shuttle instead.

To make this decision you need to price it all out, though. I think Execucar is owned by SuperShuttle so that shouldn't be difficult.

I have used Karmel Shuttle in the past but, their reviews and service have gone downhill.

This past trip we used Lansky and found them to be professional and courteous and their vehicles clean. I highly recommend them. I paid $180 round trip.

I second Lanskey's (formerly known as DK's Livery Service). We used them last December for 4 adults and a toddler, we are using them again in 2 weeks for 2 adults, a toddler, & and infant. WAY WAY WAY faster than any bus or shuttle service, plus the stop at the grocery store for water and light snacks.

I'd use Lansky for sure. They're now our go to transport since I haven't heard much about Harold lately.

So glad I read this thread! We will totally be booking Lansky for our trip in February! Having the option to stop and pick up snacks on our way to the hotel is great!

I just read the reviews because I was curious as to what they had to say. They are horrible. I personally use taxi service for several reasons. I can see them and decide if they look clean. There are always a line of them waiting at the airport and hotel so there is never a delay. We have never waited longer than 3 minutes to get a taxi a SNA.

Thanks guys for all of your feedback.

We have priced them all out for return trips. Obviously the DL Express is considerably cheaper than the others, but I think we are happy to pay a bit extra for the privacy and comfort of a private car. Lansky and Discount Sedans and Limos are similar prices, with Execucar being about $80 more expensive.

We were originally going to go with Lansky, but we found a few reviews from people that gave us second thoughts about going with them (hence looking at Discount and Execucar). Considering that we will be coming off a 14 hour flight, I want to make sure that it is hassle free, comfortable and safe.
