Hi All,
We will be disembarking from the Wonder this coming March 10 and are looking for a good, reliable car service from the port to Anaheim. Any suggestions. 4 pax with 2 weeks woth of luggage. :3dglasses

Have you thought about renting a car one way, or renting a car for the duration? You might price it out. It's about 95 miles and 1.5-2 hours travel time.

Another option, and this might prove more economical, is taking Amtrak from San Diego to the Anaheim or Fullerton stations, and then taking Uber to the hotel. https://www.amtrak.com/pacific-surfliner-train

Here is information about Limos.com from MouseSavers:

For a private ride to/from the port, try Limos.com. They will get you quick quotes from up to a dozen competing companies and you can even read reviews of the various companies before you request the quote.

When requesting a quote through Limos.com, the airports are obvious, but the location of the Port of San Diego may not be, if you’re not familiar with the area. For Port of San Diego pickups and dropoffs, you would select To (or From) Cruise Port, then type “Port of San Diego.”

  • Get $10 off airport rides with Limos.com. Use code AFF13$10.

You can also just try Uber (check pricing) or a taxi.

Here's a link to Roadrunner shuttle - you can get a free quote: https://www.rrshuttle.com/disneyland.html#

We live near Anaheim and had to get down to the San Diego port in October for the EBPC sailing on the Wonder.

Renting a car was definitely the cheapest option - we shopped around until we found a cheap rate. In your case, you'd need to get someone to the rental place from the terminal (and have them come back with the car and load it), and then they'd need to drop you and luggage off at hotel, drive to return car, and then get back to the hotel... so that might overly complicate things? I'd just Uber for those short rides (or in San Diego, my husband used one of those motorized scooter things to get to the port after dropping us off with luggage and then dropping off the car).

We also chose to rent a car one way through costco after disembarking the ship in San Diego. We had one person in our party walk off with express departure (I'm not sure if that is how it's supposed to work, but no one said anything) and run over to the airport to pick up the car while the rest of us left at the assigned time, got our luggage, and met the rental car outside the port. We chose Alamo to be able to return it to the location at Downtown Disney. I know they closed that area so they may be a bit farther now, but I'm sure they have rental drop offs somewhere within walking distance.
