hi all. new here, but have been reading all your posts since before my first visit to dlrp last october. many thanks for all the information so far.
hope someone can help with this question.
flying from ireland to cdg on june 15 staying in dlrp for 4 nights/5 days,
the last time we got the disney shuttle from the airport to our hotel (hated the 1 hour drive).
we have seen the train station becide disney village, does this train leave from cdg and if so is it the HIGH speed one.
cant seem to find information on this elsewhere. i dont know the station names?????
any info of time tables, travel time, cost (2 adults, 2 14 year olds), etc. or if anyone has travelled this way instead would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome :wave2:

Yes, the train station at CDG is the high speed link to DLRP. The (TGV) train journey is only 9 minutes, but the trains can be more expensive.
When we went last week we took the shuttle bus to the Resort, but we got the TGV back to the airport at the end of our stay. We booked our tickets before we went on www.raileurope.co.uk. The only reason I didn't book tickets TO the Resort is that I was convinced our flight in would be delayed and that we would miss our train (I was right - it snowed overnight in Paris and delayed incoming flights!)

The station is listed either as ROISSY or CDG or AEROPORT as well as PARIS CDG
The Park station is MARNE LA VALLEE or CHESSYas well as DISNEYLAND PARIS

Sorry, should have said - to give a clue to the prices: me and 10 year old dtr was £18 one way. Unfortunately there is a compulsory £5 charge for Special Delivery, so total cost was £23
One way on shuttle bus was 30 Euro

Hello bikerbabe and Welcome to the DIS

Yes, the train between CDG and Disneyland Paris (a.k.a. Marne La Vallee Chessy) is the high speed train - takes about 10 minutes to get from one to the other.

For lots more information, have a look at this thread, which you can also find in the Useful Information sticky at the top of the page. :)

Another option you may be interested in is a private transfer. I have booked with always shuttle, which costs 144 euro return for 4 people the journey should take around 30 mins. This may also work out as a similar price of the shuttle, as your 14 year olds will be conidered adults and charged 17 euro each, per journey.

Yes it leaves CDG from the station at Terminal 2F and it is a TGV train (Not RER or metro!) The Disneyland stop is the next one from the airport (i.e you get on at CDG and it is a ten minute journey first stop Disneyland) the Disney station is called Marne La Vallee (Chessy).

For the reverse journey you get on at Disneyland station again CDG is next stop and the train that goes to CDG is "Lille Europe" and couldn't be easier to find. There are four platforms look for "Lille Europe" on the boards and your time and then go to the designated platform.

you can book the train at:
http://www.tgv.co.uk

I look on here to get quotes, select Paris CDG and Disneyland PAris for your to/from fill in details for time and people and it will give you an indication of prices and a choice of various time slots in and around the hour you have chosen. For two os uf to do one way in May is £36 on average i have found it is £15-20 each

Usually I book a private shuttle to take us to Disneyland from CDG as it is a set fee that you pay in advance using:

www.parishuttle.com

Cost between CDG Airport to Disney (or vice-versa)
1 / 4 people costs 80 €
5 / 8 costs 100 €

Hi Again. Had a look at the links tonight and we have decided just to book the train for our return to cdg. Following Hildasmuriel thinking about her flights being delayed. We are flying from Dublin and its normal for delays there. Im delighted, cos this means even more time there on our last day. Our flight is not till 9.30pm. Once again thanks for the info, ( im one of these people who likes to be organised well in advance.)
