Transpo to Kennedy Space Center?

During our big family reunion trip to WDW, my brother and his family are looking to go to the Kennedy Space Center for 1 day. They will not have a rental car, and are trying to figure out the least expensive way to get to KSC. He has looked into rental cars, but will need somthing as large as a minivan for his family, and the rates are high? Any other transportation suggestions? I couldn't find rates to KSC on some of the towncar sites, so I am unsure how much this option would cost.

I've looked into this, and it ended up being cheaper to rent a van for the day than a towncar service. National has a site at the Swan (I believe).

I'm not sure if they still run it but in years past Mears ran shuttles to the Space Center.
