I have always used free or 25 credit pins in the past and never had a problem. I didn't read the I button for rules this time but I think someone said it had to be equal or better value. When I put up my Cinderella pin she just said in the trade window she doesn't accept those, so I put up a pretzel and she smile and said yes! Not like they boot you if you get it wrong first time, though I suppose they could if they get irritated enough. They were the ones taking anything for all of September, this is my first october trade event so I don't know when it changed, probably with the end of dc. I had better luck when there WAS dc for this event!

This isn't from personal experience but I recall a discussion on this board about what could and couldn't be traded with hosts. I believe it was Phinny who had refused a trade and requested a more valuable pin. I'm not sure if that policy was ever listed in the rules. Based on that discussion, I have always offered the 500 credit pins when trading with a host so I don't know if all of the hosts had that policy. That discussion took place when the dc fairy made regular visits but only about once per hour.

I was surprised to hear hosts were accepting other pins for trade. I'm guessing they relaxed the rules when the dc fairy was making very frequent visits. Either that or the hosts may have their own preferences for trading.

Maybe this is something we should write to the black hole about?

Someone told me that Staff likes NPC pins, so I thought I could just put up NPC pins, I did and she said no she didn't give me a chance to put something else up. I had to leave. I was VERY VERY VERY VERY upset. I spent 1 or 1 and a half getting in the room, and getting on the slide. What could be worse? I couldn't type messages! I tried to type a message to JustMonkeyMe, but it wouldn't let me send it. NOTHING WAS IN RED.

Okay, quick OT reply to help out here:
I had the same issue starting a few weeks ago. They have made it such that you cannot have a double space in a message. If you do, it will not send. The space will not be red because, well, it's a space. So, although it is correct English to put 2 spaces, after a period, question mark, or explanatino mark, you cannot do that in your in-game messages. One space only. Hope this fixes it for you - it did for me.

Ok. Question Here. Can You Get into the host room more than one time and get mroe than one pin??

Only one win per day per character. I don't know if trading is considered a "win", I believe I've done a host game on past trade days and won the prize.

StitchfanJr - they used to take the NPC pins, wouldn't say they LIKED them but they did take them in September. I guess they have gone back to the old standard of 500 credit pins because of dc being gone and not rushing to get through the line. Sorry she didn't give you a second chance like she did me. It's nearly impossible to get in line now and probably not worth the time.

And yes, it's true that if you have a double space in your message, it will not send. Probably because of the problem one of dis kids boasted about discovering how to make it look like someone else wrote the message in a trade window.
