Does anyone know if Disney drivers/operators still pass out transit cards upon request? The last time were at WDW was in 2013, and we collected almost all of the cards. Still a few of the boats we did not collect. Some drivers/operators were very nice about it, others were stingy, and a few seemed clueless. I noticed they have not changed in a while either. If they still pass them out, are they the same or updated?

When I was there in late July, a youngster asked a boat captain for a trading card. He had to dig for one but he found one.

Yes. I have no clue how common they are but they do still have them. DGD got a card from a bus driver on our trip last week.
On a prior trip she'd gotten a full set for the boats and a partial set for the monorails.
We didn't even know they existed till on the monorail when we first arrived. She had a book that trip where she could log what color monorail she rode in. We were talking about that when a CM working heard us and gave us the cards and said to make sure to ask boat drivers and bus drivers too.
The boats she got from the transportation stand (I guess that's a good name for it) there at the MK. We'd asked the boat captain when loading at the WL and he said let me get them for you at the MK and we walked up to that stand and got a full set.

As for if they are changed or updated, I doubt it. Unless they have a new mode of transportation they are probably the same cards they've always been. Probably the newest is one of the buses.
