OMG my son will croak is he sees this is coming and we miss it by 3 weeks . Anybody familiar enough with Univ to speculate on how early the soft openings might start or what times of day might be most likely? Any point in heading there at rope drop on May 28 just to check??

Gotta just keep your fingers crossed. I'll be there May 20-27, and I'm still hopeful.

I didn't realize that two of my friends' husbands are Transformer freaks.

One of them will be leaving three days before the opening and he is hoping for a soft opening; the other begged his wife to book the trip once I showed him the video on youtube with two of the characters.

I have to say I am very impressed; those two characters are amazing and I bet you have to be a pretty in-shape person to operate them. I think this will really enhance Universal.
