Hoping Transformers ride won't have too long of a wait in later part of Sept. Does Transformers have stationary seating? If not, for someone who gets motion sickness easy, can that person wait in line with you and just go out at the ride exit?

The Transformers ride has vehicles that move through scenes, so there are no stationary seats.

You can definitely take the chicken exit!

Do you think motion sickness is an issue? I've watched the ride through and I can't tell if it is spinning around and going fast or if it's just the scenery moving. Does it swing up and around? Is it worse that star tours for people who get motion sick with 3d?

I read on another thread earlier that it did make the person posting throw up. My husband got so nauseated on the Simpsons ride that he was done for the day.

It's really different than Star Tours. In Star Tours, you're sitting in a big stationary vehicle and you're always watching the screen. Transformers has vehicles that actually move throughout the building along a track, between screen and actual sets. You're turned in every direction and swiftly pulled from one scene to the next. I never get motion sickness, so I don't know how it would effect someone who does.

OP, have you ridden Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom? Transformers' ride vehicle is like a smaller Dinosaur vehicle with the added ability to spin.

We never made it on Simpsons last year, but I did okay on Men In Black and Spiderman rides ... on the Harry Potter ride I closed my eyes for the screen time, but was a little green at the end ... will I get sick on Transformers? (I can handle Star Tours and Mission Space: Orange, and Dinosaur no problem.)

Anybody who has a little bit of motion sickness but not major know how Transformers is going to be? Is there a video of it?

I didn't even think this ride was open yet ...

It opened officially on June 20th.. but they did about a month of soft openings.

It is the same ride system as Spider-Man. I think if you can handle that you'll do fine on Transformers :)

Perfect Thanks. Spiderman was no problem and my DS6 is a Transformers nut so in excited about taking him in November.
Holy cow I knew it was opening for summer season but Ive been so absorbed in work lately I didn't even realize singer theme park season is in full swing! Yup, definitely need a vacation ... ;)

I'm in trouble! Just watching the Spiderman and Mummy videos make me sick.

Yes, I know the cameras were not smooth, but Mission Space Green, ST and SM have all almost done me in. Even the part in Soarin' when we 'fly' into DL at night makes me nauseous as does Maelstrom.

Guess I had better get that vestibular therapy before we hit US/IOA...or I will be just standing around for three days.

You can watch a POV ride video of it on You Tube. Just Google "Transformers ride POV video"

It is exactly like the Spiderman ride, cars and all, except it is a little longer and it is themed for Transformers instead of Spiderman.

It even appears you get a little mist of water on you just like you do in Spiderman.
