TransFIRMer Sturdiness ?

I'm debating between getting the TransFIRMer or a Reebok step. I love the idea of getting all the videos with the FIRM program, but DH is worried about its sturdiness. Can a "traditional" step routine be done in the boxes? How sturdy are they (especially when they're stacked)? TIA :sunny:

I have the transfirmer step and videos and it is very sturdy. When it is staced, no problems at all. They only do leg presses on the whole 14 step and aerobics on the 6 or the eight.

The transfirmer is very sturdy when stacked. And it's great to be able to use it in the incline position. The workout videos are good for beginner/intermediate exercisers. You can also use the transfirmer for traditional step routines, but it will probably be a little shorter than the step used in those types of videos. It also doesn't have any "give" like the traditional step found in health clubs, so it might be harder on your knees if you do a lot of high impact moves on it. The Firm recommends that you not jump on the transfirmer, but I did with no problems (until I got a club step).
