Transfers?

Could anyone tell me if the return trip to WDW from Port Canaveral Disney cruise a 'lost day' or are you back in time to still enjoy a park? You dock at 7:30 am...what time are you off the ship and how long through customs? Thanks for any info!

Not a lost day. I want to say we were on the bus around 8:00 or 8:30 - at our resort by 10:00, as I remember we were at the parks before lunchtime. I'm pretty sure the transfer buses leave as they fill up - one after the other, so the earlier you are off the ship, the earlier you'll be on your merry way! Enjoy!

We got off the ship as soon as we could and were put in a van with 4 other people. We were at the resort before noon and in the parks by noon.

I had not thought about the possibility of stopping at a park after the cruise. Disney World is on our way home and we would have just wasted the whole day driving so why not?
