Going to DL in early February. Flying into John Wayne Airport and staying at Grand Californian. Anybody have any suggestions regarding transfers to and from airport and park tickets? Any negative/positive feedback in regard to ARES for tickets and Super Shuttle for transportation?

Super shuttle isn't great. Go with Uber.

ARes is fine. Although you can buy through Disney as well.

I personally love supershuttle. I have used them many times, always a positive experience. I have bought tickets for Knotts from Ares and no issues at all. I have heard nothing but positive reviews about them.

We used Last minute travel (called 888 number on website) for a 5-day PH for my mother in law (we have APs) and saved $38 over aRes. We also use Execucar (a Super Shuttle company, but with non-stop service) for our party of 4 from SNA to the Grand and it's $66 one way inclusive of tip. They text me when we land, meet us in the shuttle loading area across from the American Airlines baggage claim and off we go. We've had fantastic service each time. I've used Uber in the Anaheim area and it's been great too. I've not done the airport through Uber. Can Uber pick up at SNA? Some airports still have restrictions on ride share services.

I'd definitely recommend Uber or Lyft from the airport. Plus if you're a first time user for either you can get discount codes which means a cheap ride! My ride with Lyft last month from John Wayne to DL was around $20 after discount and tip. I haven't used Uber in California but had good luck with it when we were at WDW last year. We always get our tickets through Ares and never had any problems.

We get our tickets through last minute travel (lmtclub com). Always has the best prices. For transportation, we usually rent a car, but this Feb DD and I went to DLR and we took a shuttle. http://www.snashuttle.com/ It was $10 per person each way, super easy to find, super fast too! They are a group of smaller shuttle companies that book through the one site. DD and I waited like 10 minutes in case anyone else showed up (you make the reservation online but pay the driver), no one did so we were the only passengers. We arrived in SNA at 10:10AM and we were IN the parks (DCA) by 10:50AM.

We always use Uber black. When my parents joined us we used Lansky's. Both great options. I've bought tickets from Orbitz and parksavers.com. Both good experiences, I just look for whoever has the best deal as long as people on these boards have used them.

Thank you all for your suggestions! Haven't been to DL in almost 10 years after many trips to WDW so really looking forward to it.
