Transfers ?'s

How do transfers work? We plan on flying in the day before (or day of) the cruise and then going to WDW for 2 days after. Do we transfer with Disney or another provider? What is the cost?

When we booked (with DU) they took care of the transfers. We took the DCL bus to the port. We cancelled the return transfers and rented a car from Budget for our trip to WDW and then dropped the car at MCO.

We booked thru DCL and let them know when we were comming and returning and they took care of all transfers, both before and after the sailing. If there isn't a DCL bus ready mears transportation will honor the transfer........

We prefer arranging our own transfers. The bus is okay, but it's a crowd scene and we have a talent for having "sugar kids" sitting behind us. They do show a neat video, and the ride is only about 45 mins. from the airport, but I like my own transfers. We either use Happy Limo or do two one-way car rentals via Budget. We generally fly in the night before, so we stay at an airport hotel with a free shuttle and have Happy pick us up in the morning.
