I'm preparing (nervously) to make my first t-shirts using some of the phenomenal DISigns that have been shared here. I read the post of instructions, but have a quick question/clarification:
I saw that if you use the transfers for light t-shirts, the color of the t-shirt shows through wherever there is white and that if I use transfers for dark t-shirts, it won't.
So, if I am using a yellow t-shirt and the light t-shirt transfer, and the DISign I'm using is of Mickey Mouse, his white gloves will actually show up as the color of my shirt. So, if I want Mickey's gloves to be white, I would need to use the transfer designed for dark t-shirts or put the DISign on a white t-shirt if I want to use the light t-shirt transfers. Is that correct?
Thank you!!
