What is the cheapest shuttle from long beach to the best western park place inn? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!;)

We always take a taxi from LGB. It is a flat rate $45 I think to the DL Resort area hotels. I don't know how big your party is, but we always get a minivan so that it can hold all our stuff. I have looked at some of the shuttle companies, but they are all more expensive and I don't like having to hope that they show up on time.

We took a taxi last month from LGB to the DL resort area and the charge was still a $45 flat rate. In the past we have also rented a car from the airport so you can look into that too. There are about 5 rental companies at LGB - Alamo and Hertz for sure, and National too I think. Can't remember the other ones. Depending on how many are in your party a taxi or car rental may be cheaper than a shuttle.

Our driver's name is Ron, his business card says VIP Service (Kim Sontha Transportation). The number is (562) 396-8106 (company number) OR the number where he has always answered is 562-895-6713. We've had a Toyota Highlander & Lexus SUV for our past trips. I believe his rate is $45 each way but I give him $50 ~ he's a great guy - he's from somewhere in S. Asia ~ Cambodia maybe so he has a great accent but he's a little tricky to understand - but he understands me - he's always there waiting for us at LGB and waiting for us at our hotel when it's time to go back to the airport.

I may have to check into them - that is a great price.

I have done a lot of checking for December, and the cheapest I found is Karmel Shuttle, which was $80 round trip for the 2 of us with only one other hotel stop besides ours. http://https://karmel.hudsonltd.net

Why not rent a car? In the past I rent from Budget at the Long Beach airport for a one way to Anaheim and then drop it off the next day. Then for my return I rent a one way from Anaheim to Long Beach. It's cheaper than a shuttle or cab, plus we can head to the store before we check into the Hotel.

Just a thought...

Really? Most often renting from one location and returning to another is $$$

Correct, depending on the locations though. I know car rentals have gone up this past year, but last December I paid $29 each way through Budget. I just looked at my receipt.

Thank you so much for all the info guys! We have always rented a car, but because of money this year we have decided not to. The hotel has a car rental place in the lobby so if we needed a car for a day or two we would just rent it from the hotel. I was thinking super shuttle would be cheap but I guess not. It's just me and my husband going. Thank you guys!!!!!:thumbsup2

I'm confused! How did you rent just one way? If you returned it the next day at Buget, how did you get back to the hotel/disneyland? In the past when we've rented a car, we've kept it the entire time we were in Disneyland. mostly just sat in the parking lot of the hotel. good thing parking was free! It was however very handy for trips to target, grocery store or garden grove. We really tried not to eat in the park because we didn't really like the food and it was to expensive. I know these might be stupid questions but I'm kind of a newbe. Sorry:rolleyes:

I made a reservation online through Budget to pick up the car at:

LONG BEACH AIRPORT
4100 DONALD DOUGLAS DRIVE
LONG BEACH, CA 90808 US
hours Sun - Sat 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM
phone 562-421-0143

The next day I drove to this address and dropped it off. We then walked to Disneland and back to our Hotel.

2132 SOUTH HARBOR BLVD
ANAHEIM, CA 92802 US AH3
hours Sun 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Mon - Fri 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Sat 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
phone 714-703-0281

All for the price of $28.60 (I bet this year will be more expensive due to rental price increases).

We did this because we knew we would not use the car everyday, saved about $120.

When you make reservations online make sure to check the box "drop off at other location".
