Now I promise this is the last question from me for today!!!;) :rotfl: :rotfl:

We are thinking of booking Chef Mickeys for an early breakfast (7.30am:scared1: ) with friends who are staying at CBR.

Will they be able to get transport that early in the morning??? If they can, how long should they allow to get there??

Anyone had any experience of this???

thanks alot!!!

(I promise - no more questions today!!:rolleyes1 :thumbsup2 )

buses start running really early.

We had an adr at crystal palace for 8am and got to MK about 7.30, so it is possible, we used the buses. It was the eary start for the kids that was daunting! I think we were up at 6am!

Someone I am sure will correct me if I am wrong, but last time I used the CBR hotel buses they only went to/from the parks and not direct form CBR to Contemporary.
Therefore to get to Chef Mickeys, your friend will have to get a bus for MK, get off at the TTC and take the monorail round.

Or walk to the Contemporary from the MK - it is not far :)

We had got a bus from the Boardwalk to MK and then planned to walk to the CR last year, but as the Bus was so quiet the driver dropped us off at the CR :thumbsup2

thats great thank you!!

SO what time do you think she'd have to be at the CBR bus stop in order to get there for 7.30am(assuming she walks from MK to CR)???:confused3 :thumbsup2

You're right Kaylee- its only about a 5 minute walk - we did it the other way one year -parked the car at CR, had a meal there and went to MK - quick getaway at end of night(suggestion from UnofficialGuide!)
However, the quickest way would be to take the monorail all the way from TTC and not get off at MK to walk.

Its a few years since I last used the bus from CBR but probably 20 mins to TTC,then maybe 10mins to CR on monorail, so best leave about 45 mins before, maybe more, to allow for just missing bus/connection

I wish I knew how to quote other peoples messages!:confused3

thanks very much for the replies - I'll let my friends know that they'll need to be at the bus stop by 6.45am!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I think I've read somewhere (Unofficial guide probably) that the buses don't start running until 2 hours before parks open. So as MK normally opens at 9am the 1st bus would be 7am. Should be able to do in 30 mins at that time of day, bus to MK drop off point then walk (only 5 mins walk), using monorail would take longer I think, walk to monorail station not much less than contemporary.
